"The Country Club"
Station 2 gets its name "Country Club" from the area that immediatly surrounds it. Station 2 was built in 1984 on the east end of the coverage area to shorten responses greatly. In 2002 It saw heavy renovation to the exterior, living qurters, and apparatus bay. Station 2 houses Squad Engine 2, since it's located right off the "strip" station 2 is the busiest of the stations especially during spring break and the summer months. Station 2 is a two bay firehouse with a kitchen, bunk room, and living area.
Squad Engine 2 "Cuttin' it close"
Squad Engine 2 is a 2014 Pierce Enforcer, she features a 1500 GPM pump and 700 gallons of water. This is the first "Squad" type engine the department has placed in service.
Brush 2
Brush 2 is a 2008 Ford F550 with a 6.4 Powerstroke. Brush 2 is ALS equipped and staffed by two fire fighters from the last week of February until the first week of October.
